Tahoe Trip

So it has been a while since I have posted on my blog. It has been a mixture of being busy and my computer not wanting to display my pictures. So here are some pictures from me and Tyler's trip to Lake Tahoe in Febuary.
We went up on the Gondola at Heavenly and got some really breathtaking photos. We have been on the gondola previously when there wasn't any snow; and I have to admit, it is MUCH prettier with all the snow!!

Look at how blue the sky and the water are! I love it.

We took the Gondola all the way to the top of the mountain to the Heavenly ski slopes. We did not go skiing, we just went up to take pictures and walk around. We may try the whole skiing thing next year. We will see. I feel like it will just be trouble for me.

Lori and Dean's Wedding

So my little sister finally got married! Not going to lie, it's a little weird. I don't know why, it just it. The wedding was December 5th. They got married at Faith Luthern Church in Kent. The reception was at the Elk's Club of Kent. Everything turned out really well.
I love this picture of Lori, she really is beautiful!

Me and Lori, waiting for the ceremony to start. We sent this picture to Tyler so he could see us in our dresses since he could not make it back to Ohio.

The Siefer Clan- Terri, Mom, Lori, Dad, Grandma Lou and Debby
Don't they all look so excited?

Lori and Dean in the limo. The lighting was cool because of the mirror on the ceiling.

Mr. and Mrs. Dean Harvey!

Their cake. The topper is cute with them and their dog, Guiness.

Awww, how cute.

First dance, notice the yellow shoes? Their first song was "She's everything" by Brad Paisley. Really good choice; I love that song. If you don't know it, you will have to listen to it to get the yellow shoes.

Aunt Sally, Natalie, and Kyle getting down on the dance floor.

John Boy, what a dork!

John showing Dean and his sister Robyn his really cool dance moves! Go John Boy Go!

Me and my Dad

We had a picture like this taken at my wedding, so we had to do it again for Lori's.

All of us with Aunt Terri
Terri got in quite a few pictures which is surprising for her, she's usually behind the camera.

John and Meghan, the newly engaged couple. They got engaged December 9th!!! Still have not heard if they have set a date yet. Sad I didn't get to see the ring before I left, but hopefully they can make it out soon so go wine tasting.

Family portrait, aren't we all cute?

Kyle and her fiance Brad. They got engaged December 3rd and just set their wedding date for September 4th. Can't wait to attend that wedding and see everyone again.

The happy couple. I wish you both the best of luck.

Vegas part 2

We went out to dinner at Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville. It is my mom and Sharon's birthday in October. The stilt sailor made these flower hats for them both. Don't they look cute? The food was pretty good, the servings were HUGE! My mom and I just shared our dinner. I got an Italian margarita, it was very good.

Another shot of my mom and her flower hat.

We went to go see the Blue Man Group. We had really good seats; second row! So we had to wear these ponchos in case we got paint of food splashed on us. The boys were pretty funny in their ponchos, they kept acting like they were dresses.

Dad, with Dave and Sharon

Me after the show with one of the guys.

They are a little creepy.

Here I am with a different one. I don't think the 3rd one ever came out after the show. No one else wanted their picture with them. How boring!

This is their band. They were really good.

I love these old neon signs in Downtown Vegas!!! I wish we could have seen the Freemont street light show, its always really neat.

Had breakfast at this hotel. Food was ok, but our waitress sucked! She was slow and very rude. Needless to say she did not get much of a tip.
The next picture was a guy outside of the hotel, who was doing spray paint pictures. They were pretty amazing! My dad sat and watched him for about an hour.

The Vegas trip went way to fast, but was a lot of fun. I'm glad Tyler and I were able to fit it into our schedule and make it out there. It was the first time he had ever been there and the first time we had gone together. We live so close, you think we would have gone by now. Hopefully, we will be able to make it back sometime soon!
Thanks mom and dad for inviting us on your vacation, we had a great time. It was so good spending time with you!

Vegas part 1

Tyler and I flew to Vegas for a few days to join my mom and dad on their vacation. We missed our flight due to the Bay Bridge closure, so we enjoyed some breakfast at Lori's diner while we waited for the next flight. Luckily there was another flight a little later that we were able to get onto.

The view from the airport terminal. I was bored during the wait.

A very ornate sculpture inside the Venetian Hotel.

Tyler, Dad, Mom, Sharon and Dave (my parent's friends).

The ceiling in the Hotel.

The inside shopping center. The ceiling really looks like you are outside.

A view of the shopping center. Tyler loves pictures of people's backsides.

The gondola ride. The boat operators sing Italian love songs as you drift along.

Up close picture of the gondolas.

The Wynn Hotel at sunset. I loved how the sun reflected off the building.

One of the ships at Treasure Island.

Me and the naked figurehead of the ship. This was all within the first few hours after arriving in Vegas. We headed off to dinner and a show after our trip to Treasure Island. That is for a little later post. I will try to have it up this weekend.
ENJOY!!!
